Cóndor Perennial Brome Grass

Very high persistence genotype. Outstanding summer production. Its establishment is slower than that of annual brome grass, allowing it to be better associated with species of slower establishment (e.g. alfalfa).

Soft Agropiro

Pure, associated with Mediterranean fescue (Festupiro) or legumes depending on the area (Nilo Lotus corniculatus or Esmeralda Lotus tenuis). Also, in certain sandy regions with presence of salt (San Luis, Córdoba and La Pampa), with Nobel 620 alfalfa.

Recommendations for use

– Saline-sodic soils with drainage problems and in semi-arid areas with water deficit.

Jack Ryegrass

Diploid italic rye grass with intermediate to fine tillers and leaves with very good plant health behavior. It has an intermediate to late cycle and stands out for its rapid initial production. It extends its production into late spring. Due to its italic characteristic, it is a biennial with a high number of productive plants surviving into the second year of the resource.

Seeding rate

– Winter annuals with extended production (15-25 kg/ha).

Recommendations for use

– Extended winter annual pastures for medium to low fertility soils.
– Short rotation pastures in areas with milder summers.
– Aerial seeding.

Selva Ryegrass

Tetraploid italic rye grass with intermediate to thick tillers and leaves and very good plant health. It has an intermediate to late cycle and extends its production into early summer. It has been improved for its ability to regrow after grazing and can be subjected to intense grazing throughout its selection cycle. It shows very good resistance to leaf diseases. Due to its italic characteristic, it is a biennial with a high number of productive plants surviving into the second year of the resource.

Seeding rate

– Winter annual pastures with extended production (20-30 kg/ha).
– Short rotation pastures (8-12 kg/ha).

Recommendations for use

– Extended winter annual pastures in paddocks of good aptitude for use, or biennial pastures.
– Paddocks intended for silage due to its excellent quality, given its high leaf/stem ratio, towards the end of spring.

Bolt Ryegrass

Diploid annual rye grass with early production due to its high tillering rate when young. It has an early-intermediate cycle, producing earlier than other cycles. It shows very good adaptability to lower quality soils and temporary stress situations.

– Winter annual pastures of rapid production for lower quality environments.

Bill Max Ryegrass

The curing technology in Bill Max rye grass allows several objectives to be met. It improves establishment efficiency and increases seedling resistance to insect attack.It allows the first grazing to be brought forward due to the increase in initial vigor and the rapid supply of grass.

It increases total dry matter production, achieving a differential of around 1000 kg/ha vs. the untreated control. With this technology, a differential in meat production of almost 90 kg is obtained.

Infinity Raigrás

– High production pastures with base grasses for fertile paddocks, in environments where the persistence of the species is not achieved.
– Pastures of very high nutritional quality for dairy farming, associated with white clover and red clover.

Poseidon Orchard Grass

Domestically-produced cultivar obtained by Gentos. Cultivar with stable production throughout the year and high initial vigor. It increases early production and shows greater persistence with excellent leaf and stem health.

– High-production perennial pastures of early quality.
– Sandy or restrictive environments in terms of soil quality.
